A Meeting to Remember

Productivity and Inspiration

We all know that taking time to recharge our batteries is crucial to maintaining a good work-life balance and having energy for productivity, a positive attitude and inspiration when it comes to work. But how many of us actually take the time to do so?

Whether it’s because of a lack of time, money or motivation to go on vacation, too few in the business world actually do this. That’s where holding your next business event or meeting at the right place comes in.

After time spent at a relaxing locale, with good food, healthful and fun activities, and plenty of opportunities for team-building and making new connections, your attendees will come back to work relaxed and re-energized. The inspiration they get from such a trip will have a lasting impact on their productivity once they’re back at work.

And all during a business event or meeting!

My Trip to Canyon Ranch

I recently went to such a meeting at Canyon Ranch in Lenox, Mass. This New England gem on the grounds of a century-old estate is only about 2.5 hours north of New York City.

During our corporate meeting, despite our serious agenda, we had a fantastic time! There were some competitive team-building sports built into our program, and during the free time offered, there were many choices. The gourmet cuisine was designed with health as a main focus. And in addition to a very enjoyable meeting, we had great food and learned some healthy new habits and cooking techniques.

Also available were consults with physicians, nutritionists, exercise physiologists and other specialists; and golf, tennis and many other sporting activities.

I left Canyon Ranch invigorated with a fitness regimen, gourmet menus to share with friends and the incentive to try some serious running and biking marathons this summer.

Most importantly, new acquaintances were made and existing relationships were strengthened during the meeting I attended, which resulted from the various activities we did together. The company whose meeting I attended is already talking about trying the Miami Beach Canyon Ranch next winter and, of course, the premier Canyon Ranch in Tucson, Ariz., in the coming years.

Your company canÂ’t miss by holding your next event or corporate meeting at a place like Canyon Ranch, and your participants will remember the experience for a lifetime!
