A Fashion Insider’s Guide on Starting Your own Apparel Business

If you’ve always wanted to know what it takes to launch your own successful fashion business brand, join Latin Biz Today Partner, Tina Trevino as she shares her expert insight on launching her own lifestyle brand, Tocaya.

As advisor on all things fashion related, Latin Biz Today’s Partner & Director of Community Relations, Tina Trevino will be leading a one-night intensive Fashion Business Masterclass on Thursday, November 12th at 6PM EST. With over 25 years of experience in the fashion business, she has been creating apparel brands for celebrities like Brooke Shields, Nicki Minaj, Adam Levine, and Wendy Williams as well as consulting for major private label brands like NY&Co., Fashion to Figure, Calvin Klein, DNKY Jeans, and Karl Lagerfeld. Her experience extends from initial design concept, brand building, sourcing, production and distribution.

Having learned all aspects of the business and seeing the shifting landscape of the retail world lean heavily towards e-commerce, she decided 2 years ago to start her own company Tocaya Design. As CEO and also the creative director, she launched her own direct to consumer brand, Tocaya, a lifestyle brand geared towards comfort and versatility, all while still managing to look polished and professional. Little did she know when she started the brand, that this type of dressing would become a way of life during these recent times of “sofa to screen” work life. The appeal has grown even more as people continue their home hub lifestyle.

Now as people are looking to pivot their careers or find additional opportunities to create revenue streams, Tina will be sharing her knowledge and seasoned experience with others who are interested to know what it takes to start their own fashion apparel business.

She will be leading a one-night intensive class through Warrior Women in Business that will give you all the ins and outs of creating a successful fashion business. If you have been wanting to learn more about the business of fashion Tina will walk you through all the steps necessary to create your vision through an all-encompassing intensive masterclass. If you have a line you’ve dreamed of or a line you have already started and want to ensure your success, this class will give you an insider’s view.

This one-hour Masterclass is meant to give busy entrepreneurs a fast and all-encompassing guide to the business of fashion; including tips, worksheets, hands-on experience and live Q&A with Tina!
