2014 Latin Grammy Awards Show & The Best Dressed Latina Ladies

Hello Fashionistas,

2014 Latin Grammy Awards

This past Thursday happened to mark the 15th annual Latin Grammy awards show which was broadcast from the Vegas strip at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. There was a bit of a delay getting programming rolling as much attention was also given to listening to Obama’s speech in regards to new immigration policies which will protect many immigrants from deportation. Combining these 2 events made for a big night for Latinos!

Everyone’s attention is focused on the President’s speech

The Puerto Rican group, Calle 13 and Enrique Iglesias had an incredible night sweeping up many categories in the grammies.

What I want to talk about are some of the lovely Latin ladies who graced the red carpet Thursday night and the gorgeous gowns they wore…..it was all about vibrant colors, plunging gowns and lots of bling…

Many Latinas sported super plunging gowns and sheer fabrics all in one gown and those gowns came off just a bit too gaudy and tacky. Ladies–sometimes you just don’t have to try too hard!

Rosalyn Sanchez—this is just too too much! I know we’re in Vegas, but you’re not one of the performers!

Patricia Zavala–same thing goes for you. No need to overexpose….

The ladies here make my Top 5 best dressed list for the evening….

My choices for classy taste on the Latin Grammies Red Carpet (or in this case–Green Carpet)
From left to right–
Eiza Gonzales–Mexican actress and singer who wore a gold beaded trumpet shape hem that fit her curves perfectly.
Shannon de Lima–Marc Anthony’s new wife who wore a stunning cobalt number loaded with gorgeous detailed beadwork from top to bottom.
Debi Nova–Costa Rican singer who wore a fitted bodice dress in basic black that has the feel of old Hollywood glamour.
Mauza Antonio–Angolan model sports a peek-a-boo keyhole ice blue gown with a thigh high slit
And lastly…
Alessandra Ambrosio–Brazilian model who shows off her legs in a graphic mini-dress that still manages to look red carpet appropriate.
Here’s to a wonderful evening that showcases Latino talent! And at the same time gives us a peek at gorgeous fashion!
